COVID-19 No Tolerance Drive will continue to exist until further orders, announced officials.

The Government made an announcement stating, “In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 22(h) and Section 24(l) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the Chairman of State Executive Committee, Mizoram State Disaster Management Authority directs that guidelines for ‘COVID-19 No Tolerance Drive issued vide Disaster Management &Rehabilitation Department’s Order No.B.1302l/101/2020-DMR/Vol-II dated27.11.2020, will remain in force until further orders.”

The ongoing “Covid-19 No Tolerance Drive” was further extended across the state to curb the spread of the virus.

The no tolerance drive was to be lifted by January 11.
