For overall International rankings,  Mizoram University ranks 601-800 out of 1115 institutions.

A statement from the university said, “Mizoram University is the only university in the Northeast region to figure in the world rank”.

Mizoram University bagged the 21st position among 49 Universities in India that got worldwide ranking.

“Impact Ranking 2021” was announced by TIMES Higher Education, London.

“The Rankings assess the institutions basing on research output, outreach and stewardship in delivering against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). This helps as a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable development for Institutions in future,” the statement said.
