A MoU has been signed by the Department of Library and Information Science, Mizoram University with the Faculty of Information Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA of Malaysia.

To bring up a close friendship and to pursue the areas of collaboration in various academic activities the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between both the Universities of Mizoram and Malaysia.

Mizoram University (MZU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. KRS Sambasiva Rao and Prof SN Singh, the Head of the Department of Library and Information Science signed the MoU on behalf of MZU.

Vice-Chancellor, Emeritus Professor Datuk Dr. IR. Mohd. Azraai Kassim and Prof. Ts. Dr Sohaimi Zakaris, Dean Faculty of Information Management signed the MoU on behalf of Teknologi MARA University.

Both the universities will collaborate in at least five academic activities.

The activities include joint seminars (doctoral consortia, knowledge sharing), staff mobility (team teaching, visiting scholar, supervision), student mobility (international credit mobility, electives, audits), joint research (international grants, institutional grants) and joint publications (high-ranking journals).
