Mizoram registers 2224 Covid-19 new cases with positivity rate of 27.37 percent

According to the latest report from the state Department of Information and Public Relations, Mizoram registers a total of 2224 new COVID-19 cases with zero fatalities in the last 24 hours (DIPR).

Furthermore, according to information shared by the state government today, the daily positivity rate has been reported to be 27.37 percent.

The total number of active cases is now 13991. In Mizoram, there have been a total of 1,88,109 COVID-19 cases reported so far. The deadly infection has claimed the lives of 623 people.

On February 7, 2022, a total of 8125 samples were tested, with 982 samples belonging to males and 1242 samples belonging to females.

Furthermore, the northeastern state’s total recovery rate is 1,73,495. RT-PCR detected 432 (29.36 percent) positive cases, TrueNAT detected 38 (29.46 percent) positive cases, and RAgT and FIA detected 1709 (26.95 percent) and 45 (24.45 percent) positive cases, respectively, according to the official statement.
