To play for the Morecambe Cricket Club at Lancashire for the season 2021, Nagaland Cricket Team captain, Jonathan Rongsen Longkumer left for UK, on Sunday.
On March 29, Longkumer signed a contract to play for the UK-based cricket club Morecambe CC for the 2021 season.
Based in the tourist resort of Morecambe, Lancashire in the UK, Morecambe Cricket Club is among the oldest English Cricket club, established in the year 1889.
Jonathan Rongsen is from the Akhoya village in Mokokchung district of Nagaland, who is an all-round; right-hand batsman and medium pacer. Longkumer is 34-year old.
Jonathan Rongsen Longkumer was born on October 4, 986. He made his first-class debut for the Railways in the 2013–14 Ranji Trophy on December 6, 2013.
He later shifted from Railways to Nagaland cricket team ahead of the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy.
