On December 4th, the foundation stone for ₹ 4,127-crore highway project in Nagaland will be inaugurated by the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari via a virtual ceremony.
“Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 15 NH (National Highway) projects having 270 km worth Rs 4,127 crore”, said the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, in a statement issued.
The National Highway projects will provide an alternate route to Imphal and Dimapur and will connect the state capital of Nagaland to Phek district and the border areas of Myanmar, additionally improving transportation feasibility in the state.
To grace the occasion Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will also be present.
