The Department of Power will initiate vigorous jungle clearance works along 66kV Nagnimora-Tizit Transmission Line from May 24 to June 5, informed the Assistant Engineer (Trans),   Mokokchung Transmission Division on Sunday.

Due to this, there will be disruption in power supply to Mon District Hq and surrounding areas from (7:00-10:00) am and (2:30-5:00) pm daily, informed a press release from the department.

This will be done to enable stable power supply to Mon district before monsoon, therefore it requests the consumers to bear with the inconvenience.
