A 25 year old Naga woman committed suicide on May 23rd, 2021 at Jodhpur, informed the President, Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan.
She was 25-years old belonging from Niuland under Dimapur district in Nagaland, and was reported to be working at ‘Naveen Juice Restaurant’ in Jodhpur. She was found hanging in her rented room at Jodhpur, Rajasthan on Sunday, morning. According to the post-mortem report, the cause of the death was stated as ‘natural suicide’.
The President, Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan Asimbe said that the body of the deceased was supposed to be buried with the help of “Helping Hands Society”, Shri Robin Hibu IPS. The owner of ‘Naveen Juice Restaurant’, Mr. Naveen beared the expenses for the burial.
The final rituals were done at New Christian cemetery in Jodhpur, on Sunday evening around 6:30 pm. Pastor Steven Samson (from FFPI Jodhpur) carried out the funeral ceremony at New Christian cemetery Jodhpur in the presence Dr Vesudo Swuro and Dr. Mughakato after necessary procedures from MDM- Mathudas Hospital Jodhpur, informed NSUR President.
The Naga Students’ Union Rajasthan expressed their grief and extended empathy to the deceased’s family.
