The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok has debuted a 104 feet tall ‘monumental flag mast’ at the Mahatma Gandhi Marg, which was inaugurated by Governor Ganga Prasad and Chief Minister Prem Singh Golay on Monday, ahead of the Holi celebrations.

The flag mast will be a permanent structure here and the national flag will remain hoisted throughout, they said.

Also this flag mast has been set up by the state Roads and Bridges Department and is located in front of the Tourist Information Centre at the entrance of MG Marg.
