According to an official order issued on Wednesday, a lockdown-like restriction has been imposed by the Sikkim government, till May 16.

The restrictions include imposition of prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CRPC.

Travel across Rangpo, Melli, and Ramam borders will be stopped for the next ten days and the borders will be sealed. Inter-district travel has also been restricted.

As per order, night curfew will be imposed from 5 pm to 9 am. The government offices will remain shut till May 16.
