During his address, he expressed his gratitude on being invited as the Chief Guest and as their MLA, he assured them that the Government will work to fulfill their demands and aspirations at the earliest.

Speaking about the numerous festivals in the state during the month of December, he apprised the gathering about their visit to several parts of the state to attend events commemorating them. He added that the common feature among them was the presence of people from different communities coming together for celebrations and to witness such a positive spirit is motivating. He appealed to all to uphold the same spirit moving forward.

“The pandemic has been disruptive for Sikkim as well but with the technologies available to us, we were able to carry out our work with the use of digital platforms.” He informed everyone that gradually it’s implementation in several departments and can ensure proper channelization of resources and departmental work and also assist in other affairs.

He also assured the public that the Government will work on developing the constituency and provide all basic facilities within the area. “We will also be concentrating on improving road connectivity, water facilities and developing proper infrastructure.” He stated that they will shortly address their demand for a Community Centre at Lower-Mamley and improving the playground at Kamrang Senior Secondary School along with the other public grievances.

“I was honoured to be felicitated and express my gratitude to the organizers and the public for their consideration. Similarly, I was pleased to felicitate numerous individuals for their contributions in their respective fields and also took the opportunity to extend my warm greetings in advance for the upcoming festivals”, the CM said.

“The enthusiasm of the players of Denchung and Mamley-Kamrang teams and their prolific display in the final football match was commendable. I once again applaud both the teams and congratulate Mamley-Kamrang team for emerging as victors”, he concluded.
