Sikkim: Finance Ministry sanctioned 2,903.80 crore in state projects 

The Finance Ministry sanctioned 2,903.80 crore in projects in Sikkim, one of the eight states. The Department of Expenditure of the Ministry of Finance has authorised capital expenditure projects in eight states, including Sikkim, totaling Rs. 2,903.80 crore.

The projects were approved under the scheme titled “Special Assistance to States for Capital Expenditure in 2021-22.”

According to a statement, the Finance Ministry gave Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Sikkim, and Telangana a total of Rs. 1,393.83 crore.
