Sikkim Football Team Prepares For Santosh Trophy at Jorethang

The Sikkim football team is training for the upcoming Santosh Trophy for a month in Jorethang, South Sikkim.
The camp began on October 8 with the selection of 35 players from trials held across Sikkim. The squad was reduced to 30 players after 15 days at the cap, and the final squad of 20 players will be announced later. A total of five players under the age of 21 will be included in the squad.

“The boys are giving it their all, and we’re hoping for good results in the Santosh Trophy this time,” said coach Suren Chettri.

On November 23 and 25, Sikkim will play Chhattisgarh and West Bengal in their respective group stage matches.
