Sikkim Governor Ganga Prasad tested COVID-19 positive on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Prasad tested positive after receiving both doses of the vaccine. While he received the first vaccine dose on March 3, the governor visited Bihar a day after receiving the second dose on April 9. He returned to Sikkim on April 15.

The governor took to social media about him testing positive and urged everyone who came in contact with him to test themselves or isolate themselves.

The governor wrote on Facebook that, ‘I was having mild symptoms and tested positive for Covid-19 today. I request everyone who came in close contact with me over last few days to isolate themselves and get tested. I am stable and under the supervision of doctor at home isolation’.
