A 10-bedded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was inaugurated by Sikkim’s Minister of Agriculture, Horticulture & Animal Husbandry and IPR, Lok Nath Sharma at District Hospital Gyalshing in West District.
Under the directions of Chief Minister P.S Golay, the ICU was set up. He said, “it is a giant step toward significantly revamping the health infrastructure of West District.”
Aspirational District Programme of National Institution for Transforming India and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Rural Electrification Corporation, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) and Power Grid funded the ICU.
