Sikkim : Scholarship worth 47 lakhs for 50 IAS Aspirants

The Government’s decision for scholarship worth 47 lakhs under Chief Minister’s Civil Services Coaching Scheme for Academic year 2021- 22 was announced by Additional Chief Secretary Shri G. P. Upadhyaya, IAS. This will allow 50 deserving IAS aspirants of Sikkim to have free of cost coaching from ALS IAS.

India’s largest IAS Coaching Network, ALS IAS has above 75 centers across India that includes 25centres in North East. They have a record of 3000 selections in UPSC till date including 170 selections last year. Previously, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Manipur have also honoured ALS with IAS training sponsorship.

Also, scholarship announcement worth Twenty-Three lakhs was made for twenty-five aspirants under ALS CSR Initiative for youth of Sikkim, by National Sales Head ALS Shri Prateek Bhattacharya. All total seventy-five IAS aspirants of Sikkim will avail Scholarship, sponsored by Government of Sikkim and ALS.

The Scholarship Exam will be conducted on 31st January, 2021 in all District Headquarters of Sikkim supervised by the District Collectors of each District with strict COVID-19 protocols.

ONLINE application forms will be available on https://als.viewpage.co/a-sat2021 from 22nd January 2021. The last date of form submission will be 28th January 2021.

The Results will be declared on 3rd February, 2021 and batches will start from 8th February, 2021 at Nar Bahadur Bhandari Degree College. However, the candidate should be born before 1st August 2001 to avail the scholarship.

The selected candidates will be given training via cutting edge VSAT Technology where LIVE Transmission of classes will be conducted in ALS Delhi campus and students will learn from Best IAS Mentors across the country.
