Tripura: Colleges & Hostels to Reopen from August 25

The Tripura government has permitted institutions and their dormitories to reopen from August 25, 2021, due to a decrease in Covid-19 cases. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the establishment of educational institutions have also been established by the state government.

To guarantee everyone’s safety, the state government has said that institutions are free to use whatever teaching method that suits them and their pupils. Higher Education Director NC Sharma issued a notification asking the heads of various educational institutions to ensure that all standards are followed. Tripura Colleges and Hostels must be sanitized completely and effectively by all principals and principal in-charges.

It is necessary to ensure that COVID-19 students, instructors, staff, and visitors adhere to the code of conduct. Because the pandemic has disrupted the current academic session in many ways, heads and faculty of all institutions can arrange for extra tutorial courses for students. For everyone’s safety, principals and principal in-charges must guarantee that pupils are seated in such a way that social distance is maintained. Physical attendance has been made essential for both teaching and non-teaching personnel at Tripura Colleges and Hostels on all working days.
