The prevailing night curfew has been extended by the Tripura government till 31st of May 31 in the Agartala Municipal Corporation areas of West Tripura district.
Previously a notification regarding the night curfew from April 22 till April 30 was issued by the Tripura Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar.
The curfew guidelines will not be applicable for medical and other emergency services like health, police, security, power supply, drinking water supply, media etc.
Public meetings and rallies will not be allowed according to the order.
Outdoor gatherings have been limited to a total of 200 people and a maximum of 100 people are allowed in a hall or community center.
Cinema halls will operate with 50 per cent of the sitting capacity.
Weddings or social event can have 100 people, and 20 people can attend funerals.
All educational institutions like schools, colleges, and universities have been closed by the government including examinations in universities. Hostels will remain closed from May 1, however, the TBSE examinations will take place as per scheduled.
