In two separate fire incidents, four houses were gutted in two places of Chawmanu and destroyed valuable household items.

Sources said that on Monday morning three houses were burnt into ashes from jungle fire at Rabikumar Royaja Para area under Manikpur police station. Later, firefighters rushed to the spot and douse the wild fire.

In another fire incident at Gandhi Colony area under Chawmanu police station another house was also gutted into ashes after fire erupted in the house, which was doused by firefighters.
