Aalo is well connected by road, rail & air. Regular bus & taxi services are available from Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, which is approximately 300 Km away.
Aalo has its own airport, though it is used by the defense forces till now.
The nearest airport is Pashighat which has connecting flights to Guwahati. The nearest Railway station is at Silapathar in Assam about 139 Km from Aalo.
