River Islands-

Majuli or Majoli is a large river island in the Brahmaputra River, Assam, India, famous for Vaishnavite Satras. It is also recognised by Guinness Book of World Records as World’s Largest River Island

The Umananda Island, also known as Peacock island, is the home to Umananda temple and it is the smallest inhabited river island in the world.

 Kakoijana reserved forest is famous for Golden Langurs.

  • Langol Reserved Forest,MANIPUR

  • Langshiang Falls,Meghalaya  The Langshiang Fallsis located near the village of Sangriang, 24 kilometres (15 mi) from Nongstoin, in West Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya.It can also be seen from Mawpon village
  • Kynrem Falls,Meghalaya

The Kynrem Falls is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Cherrapunji in East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. It is situated inside the Thangkharang Park.It is the 7th highest waterfalls in India

  • Leimaram Falls ,Manipur

The falls is located a short distance away from Imphal, the capital town of  Manipur (India), with only a road distance of  about 23 kilometres from the town.
