Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, examined the rising water levels in the state on Wednesday (August 11, 2021) by visiting regions and ghats along the Ganga river.
According to a statement from the Bihar government, during his inspection, the Chief Minister urged authorities to make complete preparations to deal with floods that may occur as a result of rising water levels.
The Bihar Chief Minister visited Digha Ghat, Bhadra Ghat, Kangan Ghat, Gandhi Ghat, J P Setu, Sonpur, Hajipur, and the Mahatma Gandhi Bridge to check the river Ganga’s rising water levels.
