Former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta arrested for TRP rigging scam was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Tuesday. He was arrested two months ago on December 24 last year by the Mumbai Police crime branch.

Justice PD Naik granted bail to Dasgupta on a provisional bond of Rs 2 lakh. He is also asked to submit his passport before the court and appear before the Crime Branch every month for a period of 6 months.

Dasgupta was involved in the TRP scam which involved several leading television news channels.
