A Delhi court on Thursday granted protection from arrest to Shantanu Muluk till March 8. Muluk was arrested by the police in connection with the toolkit case. Delhi police sought more time to file a detailed and comprehensive reply on the anticipatory bail plea of Shantanu Muluk in Delhi court. 

Additional Session Judge, Dharmender Rana, who granted bail to Disha Ravi on Wednesday posted Muluk’s application for arguments on Friday. The Bombay high court granted transit bail to Muluk for 10 days on February 16. During the brief hearing held through video conferencing on Wednesday, Muluk has been granted protection from arrest till February 26.

The matter was adjourned due to the absence of the investigating officer of the case.
