Home Minister Amit Shah went to the divisional headquarters of Bastar in Chhattisgarh and paid respects to the martyred security personnel at the Jagdalpur police line.
He will learn about the situation after Saturday’s Maoists attack. Maoists attacked a joint team of security forces on Saturday killing 22 security personnel along the Sukma-Bijapur border.

Home minister Shah will hold a high-level meeting with CM Bhupesh Baghel in Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh and review the security situation in the state.
Later, he is supposed to visit the CRPF camp at Basaguda, the closest area to the spot where the Maoist attack took place in Bijapur. The Union Home Minister will have a talk with CRPF and state police personnel at the camp.
Union Home minister will also visit the injured jawans in Raipur undergoing treatment at hospitals.
