Petrol, Diesel prices rises again after a day’s gap

Due to rising rates in the international markets, fuel prices were raised after a day’s pause on Tuesday. In the most recent revision, petrol and diesel prices in the national capital were increased by 25 paise and 30 paise per litre, respectively.

Petrol and diesel are now selling at record high prices as a result of the recent change. For example, one litre of petrol in Delhi now costs Rs 102.64 per litre, while the same fuel costs Rs 108.67 per litre in Mumbai.

Last week, diesel prices were raised by 20 paisa per litre on Friday, and then by 25 paisa per litre on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, and by 30 paisa per litre on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Tuesday, the price was increased by 30 paisa per litre. Petrol prices had been stable since September 5, but after a recent spike in product prices, oil companies finally raised pump prices this week. Petrol prices have also risen in six of the previous eight days, increasing by Rs 1.45 per litre.
