A poor family girl from Nalbari was transported to Rajasthan by a scam and sold to a gang there to have her involved in the flesh trade. The Nalbari police responded quickly to her father’s complaint and rescued her from Rajasthan.
In the last Ramjan month, the victim, who is from Doulashal, was sold to a human trafficking ring by her two known teenagers. Her father filed a report with the Doulashal Police Station after she went missing.
The police investigated the event and rescued the girl based on the report. The woman informed the media that she was sold in Rajasthan for Rs. 4 lakh and that the buyer wanted to sell her body.
