One police personnel lost his life and another seriously injured in the ongoing encounter between the security forces and the terrorist in Budgam area of Jammu and Kashmir. 

“One police personnel SPO Mohammed Altaf has lost his life and SgCt Manzoor Ahmad injured in an ongoing operation in Budgam,” stated by Kashmir Zone Police.

Earlier on late Thursday night, another encounter started in Budgam area of Shopian district where three terrorists affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed.
