To a surprise, at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, a huge swarm of Honeybees were seen glued to an aircraft. A video of the event went viral on social media.
A swarm of bees was seen stucked to the window of the aircraft in the viral video. To get rid of the honeybees from the parked flight, water jets were used by the fire department at the airport.
Tarun Shukla tweeted along with the video caption, “Looks like honey pancakes inside. Kolkata yesterday.”
He also shared a photo of the aircraft in which bees can be seen attached to the window of the plane.
Two aircrafts were attacked by a swarm of bees that was run by Vistara, making them wait for almost an hour each at Kolkata. No passengers were reported to be present in the planes when the bee attack took place.
Insecticide was sprayed on the area to prevent it from happening again. Surprisingly, no beehive was found in that area.
