The Ahmedabad – Mumbai and Lucknow – New Delhi Tejas Express trains will resume service on Saturday, according to the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
Trains 82901/82902 Ahmedabad – Mumbai – Ahmedabad and 82501/82502 Lucknow – New Delhi – Lucknow will run four days a week, on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, according to the IRCTC. Passengers can buy tickets online at irctc.co.in or using the IRCTC Rail Connect app.
The Tejas express between New Delhi and Lucknow began service in October of this year. It was the IRCTC’s first fully operational train. In either direction, the trek takes more than six hours. The train provides passengers with a variety of modern amenities as well as a complimentary rail travel insurance policy worth $25,000.
