Union Railway Minister states Odisha Railway Projects as Priority

During his visit to Balangir on Sunday, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that ongoing railway projects in Odisha are being prioritized for quick construction and completion. Construction on the Khurda Road-Balangir rail line, which is under-constructed on both ends, is anticipated to be completed soon, while work on the Bichhupalli-Sonepur and Mahipur-Nuagaon/Dasapalla train lines are already underway.

“To finish the projects, we need collaboration from all agencies,” Vaishnav told the reporters. “It will be evaluated at an appropriate level and, bearing in mind the practicality on this, further action will be done,” the Union Minister said of the demand for the Balangir-Nuapada train route.

Loco revamping at Norla will also be prioritized, according to Vaishnav. At Balangir Railway Station, the Union Railway Minister talked with trackmen and appreciated their efforts.
