Today, Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju felicitated the winners of the Women’s 25m pistol category in the Shooting World Cup at Dr KS Shooting Range, New Delhi.
The winners are Chinki Yadav (gold), Rahi Sarnobat (silver) and Manu Bhaker (bronze). All the three medals are won by India.
In a tweet, the Sports minister congratulated all the three winners and wrote, “It’s very rare to see a clean sweep victory for India at world level. India has become a powerhouse of Shooting sports. I’m happy that the efforts of the govt to provide support, proper management by the Federation and dedication of our talented athletes are showing the results.”

Meanwhile, Indian para swimmer Suyash Jadhav won five medals at the Para swimming championship. He is the only para swimmer from India who achieved ‘A’ qualifying mark for the 2016 Paralympics in Rio.
