Arunachal Forest Minister Mama Natung inspects Van Vigyan Kendra Chessa

Arunachal Pradesh Forest Minister Mama Natung on Saturday while visiting the Van Vigyan Kendra Chessa to get a first hand information, appealed to all sections of the society to join hands in protecting our environment and the wildlife that inhabit it. Natung while speaking to the press at Van Vigyan Kendra said that there has been a requirement of mass awareness on the protection of environment for maintaining global warming and ecological balance.

“Global warming is a challenge all over the world for the survival of human beings and to maintain the ecology. There is an urgent need of several measures like protection of environment, forest, wildlife and avoid deforestation and killing of wild animals. All these activities can be achieved if all sections of society get together or extend their helping hands and plant more trees and avoid deforestation for selfish ends” Natung said.

The minister added that the Environmental & Forest department will soon start a massive awareness programme at grassroots level right from the villages. He mentioned that in-order to protect the environment and its wildlife the state government will ensure that the projects get sufficient funds for its renovation and proper functioning.
