Arunachal Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra Takes First Shot of COVID Vaccine

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra was administered the first shot of COVID19 Vaccine on Thursday. The Governor took the dose of Covishield, a Raj Bhavan communique said.

It may be mentioned the Governor has been talking to all government officials, political and religious leaders, gaon burhas, eminent personalities, sports-persons and youths and appealed to get vaccinated. He said that for the safety of our own self and our loved ones, every person must take COVID19 Vaccination.

Mishra also cautioned that even after vaccination, the people must maintain COVID19 Protocols i,e wearing facemask, washing hands frequently and following social distancing by practising ‘Do Gaj Ki Doori’.

Meanwhile, the Governor and Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao discussed about measures to contain the spread of coronavirus in the State when the former called on him at Raj Bhavan.

The Governor requested MP Gao to assist the State Government in providing adequate numbers of vaccines, so that maximum number of eligible people can be vaccinated.
