Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed Swahid Bedi of the martyrs of Assam agitation at Howly and offered floral tributes to the Veer Swahids. He also inaugurated the newly built Chandi Barua Bhawan and attended several programmes.

The CM also laid the foundation stone of a Welcome gate of Howly Town. Minister Naba Doley and Assam Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Jayanta Malla Barua too attended the inaugural ceremony.
