On Monday morning, February 28, a mutilated dead body of a man was recovered in the Dighalipukhuri area of Guwahati.
The body was discovered this morning near the Prashaanti Restaurant on the premises of Dighalipukhuri, according to Pan Bazaar Police.
Moreover, according to police, the unidentified body was discovered wearing only shorts and is believed to be 45-50 years old.
The deceased man’s head had been partially mutilated.
Police believe the head of the deceased man may have collided with a nearby rock or concrete structure.
Meanwhile, the body has been immediately sent for post-mortem.
