The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to run two Festive Special Trains and extend one of its train services during the holiday season.
Moreover, Howrah-New Jalpaiguri-Howrah and Anand Vihar-Jogbani-Anand Vihar will be served by the Holi Special train.
In addition, the Rani Kamalapati-Agartala-Rani Kamalapati Special train has also been extended to accommodate the increased number of passengers.
Furthermore, Holi Special Train No. 02307, Howrah – New Jalpaiguri, will leave Howrah at 23:55 hours on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, and arrive in New Jalpaiguri at 10:10 hours the next day.
In the opposite direction, Train No. 02308 will depart from New Jalpaiguri station at 12:50 hours on Thursday, March 17, 2022, and arrive in Howrah at 23:05hours.
Meanwhile, Holi Special Train No. 04064 will leave Anand Vihar at 15:30 hours on the 12th and 19th of March, 2022 (Saturday) and arrive at Jogbani at 22:30 hours.
On the 14th and 21st of March, 2022 (Monday), Train No. 04063 will depart from Jogbani at 01:20 hours, arriving at 11:10 hours at Anand Vihar.
However, these Holi special trains will consist of two AC-three-tier coaches, ten sleeper coaches, and six general coaches, as well as two luggage cum brake vans.
Simultaneously, it was decided to extend the services of another festive special train, Rani Kamalapati-Agartala-Rani Kamalapati, in order to accommodate the increased passenger traffic.
For the convenience of commuters, Train No. 01665’s journey has been extended until June 30, 2022, and Train No. 01666’s journey has been extended until July 3, 2022.
