The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal, has announced its decision to participate in the upcoming 2024 assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh, a Northeastern state of India. Additionally, the party will field candidates in both Lok Sabha seats from Arunachal Pradesh, which will go to polls simultaneously with the assembly elections.
The announcement was made by Dr. Sandeep Pathak, AAP’s national secretary (organisation), after presiding over a meeting of the party’s Arunachal Pradesh unit. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the party’s organization in the state and establishing a strong connection with the masses.
In line with its commitment to engaging with the people, the AAP is planning to hold a grand mass rally in Arunachal Pradesh in the near future.
This decision marks a significant step for the AAP, as it expands its political presence in the region, aiming to garner support from the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh in both the assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
