Chief of Air Staff Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on Wednesday assured Governor Brig (Rtd) BD Mishra of the best support from the Indian Air Force (IAF) to Arunachal Pradesh when the former called on him.

During his meeting with the Governor at Raj Bhawan, they discussed national security, recruitment of youth from Arunachal and humanitarian missions of the IAF in the frontier state.

Conveying his gratitude to the Air Chief Marshal to conduct recruitment rallies, preceded by IAF awareness camp at its forward air base in Arunachal Pradesh, he said, “Such initiative will motivate and encourage the youth of the state to join the Armed Forces.”

While acknowledging the commendable proficiency and professionalism of the IAF in performing their assigned operational tasks especially during medical emergencies and national calamities, the Governor said the IAF has always been very prompt in humanitarian missions.
