The Pre arrest bail of the main accused Lukbi Bojir in connection to assaulting a 7-year-old girl, has been rejected by hon’ble District and session court Bomdila today the 14th june 2021.

The team of International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) Arunachal Chapter strongly urges the concerned police Station to arrest the accused as soon as possible. They also requested the concerned Education Department to suspend him from his contractual service and make a Detail Inquiry at various schools to find out about the same kinds of atrocities that might have been inflicted by him to other students.

It is to be mentioned that the Yingkiong police have arrested the co-accused, identified as Miti Lego, wife of prime accused Lukbi Bojir, in connection with the recent child abuse case in Upper Siang HQ Yingkiong. However, the main accused is still absconding and a manhunt is continuing against him.

Both Bojir and his wife are teachers. They are accused of abusing and torturing an eight-year-old child. A zero FIR had been registered against them at the women’s police station in Itanagar, which was later forwarded to the Seijosa police station.
