Arunachal: Candlelight March Held Demanding Justice for Techi Meena

Thousands of People hit the street on Thursday across the state carrying out candlelight marches demanding justice for Late Techi Meena Lishi and her unborn Baby, who were brutally murdered at Karsingsa on 5 November, through a conspiracy hatched by her husband Lishi Roni.

The Candlelight marches were carried out in all district headquarter and several towns in Arunachal Pradesh demanding exemplary punishment to all those involved in the cold blooded murder. In several parts of the state under the supervision of Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society (APWWS) peaceful candlelight marches and protest rallies were also organized.

In Itanagar Capital Complex the candle march began from the  try junction of Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) Papu-Potin highway at Papu Nallah afternoon at around 3.30 PM which culminated at A Sector resident of the deceased. Several prominent personalities of state address which included APWWS President Gumri Ringri, ANSU General Secretary Tukom Ligu, Nyishi Nem achum President and other students leaders took part in the march. The protesters carried out placards,  leaflets, banners, posters demanding stringent action against all accused involved in the crime which had created shock-waves in the State.
