On September 30, Arunachal Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, along with Hon’ble Education, Cultural Affairs & Indigenous Affairs Minister Taba Tadir and Balo Raja, Member of Legislative Assembly, 18-Palin ST Assembly Constituency, Arunanchal Pradesh, inaugurated the new Yazali Electrical Division Office and laid the foundation stone for the permanent office building for the Electrical Division at Yazali.

According to reports, the sub-electricity division’s supply was disrupted after the Yazali-Kimin feeder line was broken in April of this year. Residents of Yazali, in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, are demanded a steady power supply after four months of irregular power supply.

A huge number of Yazali residents wrote to the Deputy Commissioner, claiming that no actions had been done to reconnect the electricity lines, citing the administration’s “total ignorance, carelessness, and step-motherly attitude.”
