In a bid to ensure free and fair conduct of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 (APPSCCE-Prelims) scheduled on November 1 the State Police Department has left no stone unturned. They have arranged a robust security, deploying more than 1,000 personnel in all 127 examination centers spread over 15 districts in the state where 26,459 candidates are scheduled to appear for the exam. There are 53 centres in the Capital Complex itself and the number of candidates appearing are 12,335.
“Overall robust police deployment and police arrangement is being done. Total of more than 16 Coys of force (about 1000 personnel), including escort parties and flying squads/arrest teams, are being deployed at the examination centres, strong rooms, which are supervised by SPs of the respective districts on the ground,” said SP (Crime) Hemant Tiwari, who is also PRO of Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP). He also informed that adequate security has been provided for movement of question papers from strong room to examination centre and bringing back of answer sheets to APPSC, Itanagar.
The APPSCCE (Prelims) will be conducted in two shifts – first shift from 9 am to 11 am and second one from 1 pm to 3 pm. Chief minister Pema Khandu on Saturday took to twitter wishing all the aspirants good luck for their APPSCCE prelims examination.
