In a huge achievement, a team from Arunachal Kabaddi Association (AKA) is all set to participate in the National Sports Championship 2021. The Championship is  being organized by the National Sports and Physical Fitness Board.

The championship would be held at Shree Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun in Uttrakhand from October 1 to 3 next.

“I hope that the team will shine and bring name and fame to the state by winning the championship,” Raman said. He claimed that till date, the association has not received any kind of help from the state’s sports department and urged the state government to extend support in uplifting the association and its players.

He informed that though the sports minister had assured to provide facilities such as a stadium and an annual calendar in the month of March. However, the files are still under process.

It is to be mentioned that the association had self sponsored the team and hired a coach from Kolkata, informed Raman.
