Arunachal: Lower Dibang Valley Police Conduct IVFRT System Training

A one-day training programme on implementation of Immigration, Visa, Foreigner Registration & Tracking (IVFRT) system for hoteliers, homestays, resorts etc. was conducted by the Lower Dibang Valley district Police in collaboration with NIC District Centre and District Tourism office on Tuesday.

SP J K Lego, while interacting with all the accommodators, stressed the importance of foreigners’ registration and all tourists visiting the district for the safety and security of all.

He further said that the mandatory online registration of foreigners would help in early detection, collation and dissemination of information. The Superintendent of police (SP) requested the NIC district team to provide all necessary support during the registration process by the accommodators.

A powerpoint presentation on IVRFT was delivered by the NIC district team consisting of DIO Yagru Linggi, ADIO Milan Lego and FSE Ushmi Menjo. The accommodators were introduced to the IVRFT online form-C and how to register themselves online through the portal.

The programme was also attended by DSP Ngupok Ringu, OCs and the tour operator Neharika Umbrey.

The Lower Dibang Valley district is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India. It is the tenth least populous district in the country.
