Arunachal: MoS Subhas Sarkar arrives in Longding on Three days visit

Union Minister of State for Education Dr Subhas Sarkar arrived in Longding district on Sunday on his maiden three-day tour of the eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh.

During his three-day stay in Longding, the union minister will visit several parts of the Tirap and Longding districts and review the developmental projects. He will also hold meetings with officers and officials of various departments to know the implementation of various schemes and policies of the government on the ground level.

The Centre is committed to the development of Northeastern regions under Act East Policy and we have been witnessing a sea change in all sectors including connectivity, communication, transportation, and education, he said.

Earlier, RWD Minister Honchun Ngandam, Longding MLA Tanpho Wangnaw, Jairampur MLA Laisam Simai, Longing DC Bani Lego, SP VHM Meena, ZPC Lohpong Wangham, BJP district president Pankhu Wangsu among others accorded welcome to the union minister at the circuit house in Longding.

The union minister was accompanied by Arunachal BJP spokesperson Dominic Tadar, state BJP vice president Nani Lagi and Visha P Nabam, convener.
