Two individual succumbed to their injuries while others were injured when a speeding bus fell into a deep gorge rolling over a paddy field near Sodom Doke Village about 11 km away from Tirbin circle in Leparada District.

The bus bearing number AR07-2693 was on its way to Silapathar in Assam from Daporijo, Upper Subansiri District carrying 14 passengers. The accident occured at around 10 pm on Thursday. According to a source the Driver of the bus and its Conductor succumbed on the Spot and other Passengers sustained critical injuries. 

A team of Police officials including SP Leparada and Local villagers along with a Medical team  rushed to the spot to help the injured. More information awaited.
