After 22 positive cases of Covid-19 were discovered among the pupils and employees of Rama Krishna Mission School in Narrottam Nagar in Tirap district on Monday, the entire campus of the school was declared a Covid containment zone with immediate effect.

The ADC issued the injunction in order to prevent the Covid-19 virus from spreading further.

Except for medical professionals and health care services, as well as other critical services employees, the ADC has barred entry and exit of any person to and from the containment zone for a period of ten days or until further instruction.

At the same time, all vehicles and people commuting across the RKM campus’s main road from Mopaya to Deomali and vice versa will be allowed to do so without stopping.
