Arunachal Soon to get Centre of Excellence for Science & Technology

Arunachal Pradesh Deputy chief minister on Thursday chaired a meeting with the concerned stakeholders on setting-up a Centre of Excellence for Science and Technology, which would be an important asset for the future generation.

“In this age of advanced technology and innovation, we need to have a centre of Excellence where people from different disciplines can come together and share facilities/resources. We need to create assets that would be useful for the future generations,” he said.

Mein said the Centre of Excellence for Science and Technology if established will facilitate the government departments, community, academicians and the students to share knowledge and skill through education, outreach programs and training.

State minister of Science and Technology, Honchun Ngandam, who was also present in the meeting said that there is an application of science and technology in all the Government departments and if a center established, it would cater to their needs.
