In yet another major achievement by a woman from North East India, Ms Tashi Yangjom from Dirang Dist in Arunachal Pradesh, had set a record in being the First Indian Lady climber to Summit Everest This Season.
Yangjom was a regular trainee from NIMAS and continued efforts by the association along with her dedication, she had successfully been able to scale Everest. It is to be mentioned that she is the Ninth climber from NIMAS, Dirang to scale Everest. Regular training had made her a strong mountaineer with blitzkrieg speed.
On her mighty achievement, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu through his Twitter handle congratulated Ms. Yangjom and also wished her good luck for the future.
